FTT set a success!

Hi fellow Fairy Tale Theatre members: Just wanted to thank all of those who helped paint the set this past Saturday. You did an awesome job!
If anyone has brothers or sisters, friends, etc. in grades 6-12 who would like to be an usher for the play, let us know. The performances are Friday, June 27th 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 28th 11a.m. and 2 p.m. You can let one of us know. Thanks!

Crew Meeting

Hi! Just wanted to remind you about the crew meeting next Saturday, May 31st from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We will be sketching/painting the set. Snacks will be provided, but make sure to bring a main entree(sandwich, etc.) Don't forget to wear painting clothes too! We need all the help we can get, so please volunteer if you can. We appreciate it!

Welcome!

Just a little welcome to all of the cast members of Alice in Wonderland. The librarians are super excited about FTT this year and are glad all of you decided to be a part of it. We will post things here about the play, so remember to check back in from time to time!

Cast List

You can call starting in the morning at 9:00 am to find out which part you've been chosen for. The library phone number is (708) 532-0160. You will only be able to ask for your own part. See you on Monday!

Update

Two of the directors and I met today and worked out most of the staging. Some of the larger, more chaotic scenes will have to wait for rehearsals. After today's meeting I am even more excited about the play, if that's possible.
Remember, on May 3 there is a crew meeting and there will be paint!

FTT Saturdays

Work on this summer's production is already underway. We are going to be meeting on a few upcoming Saturdays and welcome any help.

In April we will work on the staging of the play. In May we will work on the set. For the May dates, there will be paint. Please wear appropriate clothes.

Celebration!

A bug cause for celebration: Our scripts have arrived! They are sitting in a box on my desk. We will be handing out director applications at our next YAC meeting. If you are unable to make it but are interested, please talk to Miss Lowe (or comment on this blog). Preference will be given to high school students, and also to those who have past directorial experience. All of this will be gone over in greater detail at the next YAC meeting. See you there!
